Puccini’s Deli began decades ago in Italy, where Paolo Pucci first fell in love with fine food and the centuries-old traditions of cheese making. That passion crossed the ocean with him to Canada in 1977. While life led Paolo to build a successful construction business and raise a family with his wife Mary, his appreciation for exceptional food never faded.
That love was passed down to his children, Lino and Maria, who grew up believing that great food is the heart of every memorable gathering. In 2009, the family brought Paolo’s long-held dream to life with the opening of Puccini’s Deli. With Lino Pucci as the backbone of the operation, Puccini’s Fine Foods began its evolution—guided by a deep respect for tradition and a bold vision for growth.
Since 2010, Puccini’s has grown to triple its original size, becoming a true destination for Mediterranean cuisine on the North Shore and beyond. Rooted in generations of old-world craftsmanship, we offer over 150 specialty cheeses, aged in-house salami, premium cured meats, antipasti, and olive oils sourced from Italy, Spain, and Greece—supported by a team deeply knowledgeable in the art of fine food.
What began with expertly crafted charcuterie boards naturally expanded into a full catering menu, inspired by traditional Italian techniques passed down through generations. Under Lino’s leadership, Puccini’s also grew into a full private chef operation, now servicing events and gatherings across Vancouver with rustic, soulful Italian cuisine made from the highest-quality ingredients.
Built on generations of knowledge and a lifelong love of fine food, Puccini’s continues to honour its roots while sharing the timeless art of Mediterranean cuisine with Vancouver and beyond.
